Total Time: | 10 mins |
Servings: | 8 |
Yield: | 1 cup |
Ingredients
- ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Combine orange juice, oil, honey, vinegar, and salt in a measuring cup or bowl. Whisk together until blended. Add poppy seeds and whisk to combine.
- White vinegar can also be used.
- Experiment with different citrus juices to see what the flavors are like! If you like something more on the sour side, try grapefruit or lemon; the sweetness can be moderated with honey. Pomelo or tangerine or mandarin would also give a different spin to the taste!
Reviews
I was so excited to find this recipe as my go to place for this dressing is in another state. I followed the recipe completely & I’m sorry to say, it was terribly disappointing. Some things that might help if I try again, no olive oil; that’s what I tasted instead of orange. I used cara cara oranges & juiced them myself; maybe next time use another orange or just orange juice. This tasted nothing like what I buy out of state.
Excellent. Fresh and versatile.
Wonderful, healthy and fresh tasting!
