Ingredients
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 cubes ice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, sugar and vanilla. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

I made some changes I don’t have orange juice concentrate so I just used orange juice and instead of water I changed that to orange juice too! 🙂

Used 2 cups yogurt and a splash of water instead of milk and water. Used 1/4C Pyure stevia blend. Tart but delicious!

It was delicious! I couldn’t find any orange juice concentrate, so I replaced it with strawberry concentrate and it was the best smoothie/milkshake I’ve ever had.
I Love this recipe and so does my family. It is cool and refreshing. Sometimes I use plain kefir instead of milk and it gives it a great tang. Occasionally I will use powdered egg whites to help froth it up.
Too sweet. I’m going to add more water and milk next time.
Followed as is and find it a tad too sweet. Maybe because I used the Minute Maid Orange Punch which is on the sweeter side. Next time, I’ll leave out the sugar first then add little at a time.

What a nostalgic drink! I can remember back in the day when these were made with raw eggs. I simplify this recipe by using 1-3/4 c. orange juice instead of frozen concentrate and water. I’m sure the frozen concentrate gives it more orange flavor, but it’s fine with the juice and much easier.
These are absolutely delicious!! I omit the sugar and the vanilla extract and it is still great!
this is great. I have never even had an orange julius and had a craving for one for quite a while. having never had one before I can tell that this is what it’s supposed to taste like. this orange glorious really hits the spot. best smoothie I have ever made for myself.
