Outstanding! Very easy to make. This is my go to dip recipe. Sometimes I use a sweet onion.

Really easy and very good. I’ve made it 3 or 4 times now and I like the way it is so easily tinkered with to make it just right for yourself. Like a lot of folks here, I use less mayonnaise and more sour cream. A dash of “woostah-sheer”, some onion powder, more salt or pepper, or not. The onions can even be caramelized for 45 minutes or a quicker higher temp sauté works too. Once you serve it you’ll be making it often, it’s that easy and that good. It gives you plenty of opportunities to personalize the flavors. But it’s mandatory that you let it sit at least overnight or longer in the fridge.

Great recipe. Trying to match The Rustic (a Dallas restaurant). Good
with crispy kettle chips. As I have made again and again, I added a dash of Worcestershire and more garlic. I equaled sour crm and mayo. Really great flavor.

Easy, takes some time, but what’s better than homemade dip?.
Joshua Vargas
Delicious! Always requested for family get togethers. Takes 30 minutes or more to caramelize onions on my stove. Easy. For those who say it’s too salty, you probably used regular table salt instead of Kosher salt.
