Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
  2. 2 1/2 pounds ground pork
  3. 2 Roma tomatoes, boiled and peeled
  4. 1/4 cup beef stock
  5. 2 tablespoons granulated onion
  6. 1 tablespoon yellow curry powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  8. 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  9. 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  10. 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  11. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  12. 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  13. 1 1/2 cups diced bacon
  14. Ketchup, to cover

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix together the beef, pork, tomatoes, beef stock, granulated onion, curry powder, pepper, garlic, caraway seed, marjoram, parsley and bread crumbs in a bowl. Put the mixture in a loaf tin. Cover with the bacon and top with ketchup.
  3. Bake until cooked through, about 2 hours.
