Ingredients
- Sticks unsalted butter, softened
- Chopped garlic
- Chopped fresh herbs – parsley, basil, thyme, rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on your counter. Spoon the butter into the middle of the wrap, in a long rope-shape. Roll the plastic wrap over the butter, gently forming it into a log, tucking the ends under. Pop it into the refrigerator or the freezer and chill until hard and set.
- When ready to use, just slice a coin off the butter and put it on top of grilled steaks, fish, or poultry.

I want to try this, but the quanitities aren’t listed. I’m afraid I’ll use too much or too little of something and end up with an unedible mess. Just a rough estimate would be nice.
This butter is soooo good
I saw this recipe on her show today and decided to try it. It is so easy and tastes so good.
I tried it with oregano, since we cook with oregano often. I will be using this receipe with other herbs too. I cannot get any easier.
