Ingredients
- 2 all-beef hot dogs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- 16 Original Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®
- ⅓ cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard, or to taste
Instructions
- Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil over high. Add hot dogs; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute until onions are soft and have started to brown, about 5 minutes.
- Drain hot dogs. Slice each into 8 rounds.
- Arrange Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps® on a serving platter. Top with about a teaspoon sauerkraut and a hot dog round. Drizzle with mustard and top with grilled onions.

Really quick little appetizer that is perfect for the hot dog lovers! If you like hot dogs on a pretzel bun, then you’ll definitely like these little appetizers. The sauerkraut and grilled onions are the perfect toppings, and I used a whole ground Dijon mustard to give it a little extra kick! We loved these!!
