An excellent strawberry and banana smoothie that is simple to modify for low-sugar diets. About 20 years ago, my mum began me on this. Despite the fact that I seldom ever add sugar or sweetener, I am aware that some people prefer a little extra sweetness. If you’d rather, orange juice can be used in place of milk.

This is the real deal. I followed the recipe as written and waited over a year before sampling this black gold. It is decadent stuff.
For making a year ahead I would soak all the dried fruits in sloe gin overnight and replace the almonds with one pound of chopped dates.
