Ingredients
- 4 ½ cups red wine
- ¾ cup ginger ale
- ½ cup orange juice
- 2 fluid ounces brandy
- 1 fluid ounce triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 2 cups crushed ice
- ½ Granny Smith apple, diced
Instructions
- Stir red wine, ginger ale, orange juice, brandy, triple sec, sugar, cinnamon, and apple together in a large pitcher.
- Divide crushed ice evenly into six large wine glasses.
- Pour red wine mixture into each wine glass, making sure that each serving has a few pieces of apple.

I made this just as listed and it was great! I didn’t use cheap red wine, scrimped on the brandy. Made a great group drink for a birthday party! Have made several batches since.
