Ingredients

  1. 2 ounces rye whiskey
  2. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  3. 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
  4. 1/2 ounce maple syrup
  5. 2 ounces soda water
  6. Lime wedge and candied ginger, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the rye, lime juice, ginger and maple syrup in a shaker and shake until combined. Pour over crushed ice in a glass, top with the soda water and serve with a lime wedge and candied ginger.

Made it over the weekend. I loved it! Used Domaine liqueur (sweet ginger liqueur). Also, I didn’t add maple syrup because it was sweet enough with the Domaine. For the Whiskey, I used Sagamore Rye. Nice summer cocktail!
