Omg! This salad was the bomb for Thanksgiving. It stays crunchy & serving it at room temperature is great! Thank you.

Served this for Thanksgiving. The dressing is absolutely wonderful, tangy and light definitely complements the fruit. Thank you Valerie and your mother. I will never use an all mayonnaise dressing again. I agree this is a keeper.

I loved this version of Waldorf salad.  Very light, not so heavy with an all-mayonnaise version.  This will be my go to recipe.  Thanks Valerie for sharing.

Got rave reviews from everyone on Thanksgiving.  The only change I made was to add just a bit more buttermilk.  My husband said thisrecipe is a keeper! Thanks Valerie!

Valerie’s Mom’s recipe sounds very yummy, but I added to mine some dried cranberries and dried blueberries to it and used one mackintosh and one granny smith apple chopped. We don’t use low fat anything in our house so 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon is an add on to the sauce.
