This punch comes from Hondo, Texas. It’s an old family recipe I adopted from a dear friend of mine. The friend’s mother, a preacher’s wife, would make it for neighborhood functions. All I can say is, that must have been one happy neighborhood.

Love, love, love this recipe. I actually grew up in Hondo and go back at least once a year to visit my two best friends that still live there!! It’s so exciting to see small town recipes like this one being enjoyed all over. Thank you for that!!
