Ingredients
- 1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder (natural, not Dutch process)
- 1 heaping tablespoon instant espresso powder
- 1 heaping tablespoon turbinado sugar, such as Sugar in the Raw
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1/2 cup ice, plus more for serving
- 4 ounces whole milk
Instructions
- To a food processor fitted with the blade attachment, add the cocoa powder, espresso powder, sugar, vanilla bean paste, ice and 1 tablespoon water. Process, scraping the sides of the processor as needed, until the mixture has lightened in color and become fluffy in texture, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Fill an 8-ounce glass mug with ice. Add the milk, then mound the coffee mixture on top. Drink immediately.
