- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 clove garlic, grated
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 1/2 head napa cabbage, shredded (about 2 cups)
- 1/4 head red cabbage, shredded (about 1 cup)
- 1/2 cup crispy wontons
Instructions
- For the dressing: Whisk together the mayonnaise, miso, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire and garlic in a medium bowl. While continuing to whisk, slowly drizzle in the oil until smooth and glossy. Add the Parmesan and stir just to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

I love this. Whenever I look up a garlic miso salad dressing I find something that is more Asian inspired, not what I wanted. I had a miso salad dressing many years ago that had garlic and a bit of a caesar flavor and this is great. Made recipe as written except used the whole clove of garlic. Delicious!
Loved it, followed recipe as written.
A nice change from my traditional home caesar salad dressing. Have made twice in a week’s time.
I used red miso and Kewpie Japanese mayo. There’s NO need for mayo this way. Great, deep flavor.
Really really good! Listen to the directions though and don’t add too much dressing at first. You can always add more.
This dressing is amazing. Very simple recipe with a big flavor. I put the ingredients in my NutriBullet which resulted in a smooth well mixed dressing. Since my husband and I are on Keto I used pork rinds for crunch and added homemade sliced cured salmon.
Very good… if you keep white miso in your fridge like I do, then everything else in it is pretty much a staple item. Great to have fresh Caesar whenever you fancy. I just put it on some butter lettuce I needed to use and it was great. Did not add additional salt since the miso and cheese are salty. Did add lots of pepper tho. Some fresh croutons would be great with this. Will make again.
This dressing is soooooooo good. I’ll definitely be making it many times over. It’s very versatile and I imagine myself building various salads with it.
Really is delicious! Easy to make. Great recipe 🙂
It’s my new favorite dressing. I think it’s even better without the cheese and salt. I use on American style bagged salad and it’s delicious! Sooooo easy and quick to make!
