Melon-Blackberry Smoothie

This refreshing smoothie is naturally sweet and a fantastic breakfast or snack. If necessary, you can use rice milk or soy milk in place of the almond milk.

Ingredients

  1. 1 banana, chopped
  2. ½ honeydew melon, cubed
  3. ½ cup frozen blackberries
  4. 3 tablespoons wheat germ
  5. ¾ cup almond milk
  6. 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the banana, honeydew melon, blackberries, wheat germ, and almond milk into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth.
  2. Divide ice cubes into two tall glasses, and pour the smoothie over the ice.

I’m sure it’s healthy but not really tasty!.

Best on a hot day. I don’t think melon is my favorite ingredient in a smoothy, but for what it is, this is pretty good.
