You’ll become addicted to Maryland OLD BAY® Crab Cake Dip after just one bite. This creamy party dip contains a pound of lump crabmeat and is made with Maryland’s own OLD BAY® Seasoning, a well-known concoction of celery salt, herbs, and spices. It’s a party menu staple from coast to coast because it’s enjoyable, simple, and savory.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (1.24 ounce) package OLD BAY® Crab Cake Classic® Mix
  2. 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  3. 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  4. 1 cup mayonnaise
  5. 1 teaspoon Old Bay® Seasoning
  6. 1 pound lump crabmeat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix Crab Cake Mix and butter in small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and Old Bay in medium bowl until well blended. Add crabmeat; toss gently. Spread in 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with Crab Cake mixture.
  3. Bake 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve with assorted crackers or sliced French bread.

I used the suggestions made by another reviewer. I increased Old Bay and butter and added cheese and bread crumbs to the topping. It was the best crab dip ever!

Tasty!!! I upped the old bay to 1 Tbsp in the main mixture, and in the topping I doubled the butter and added a half cup of seasoned breadcrumbs and shredded cheddar to the topping. Could use about 30 minutes to get nice and crispy/melty in the topping.
