Any piece of meat will taste fantastic marinated in this recipe. I enjoy using it as a marinade for cube, skirt, or any other type of steak. It contains simple components that, when combined and given time to blend, will always result in a piece of meat that is tender and juicy.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup vegetable oil
  2. ½ cup soy sauce
  3. ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  4. ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  5. 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  7. 2 tablespoons Dijon-style prepared mustard
  8. 1 onion, sliced
  9. 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, ground black pepper, mustard, onion, and garlic. Mix together well, and use to marinate your favorite meat.

Really came out flavorful for Ribeye steaks. Last minute marinade only for 3 hours but it worked just fine! The only issue was the large amount of oil which did not add or take away from the overall flavor. Next time I use this marinade I’ll cut it to 1/2 cup.

this worked like a charm. i needed to marinate some beef flanken ribs so i used this recipe . i substituted low sodium tamari for the soy sauce and i used a shallot instead of an onion. everything came out delicious and i will use this recipe again. thanks !

I love it. The citrus from the lemon comes through without being overpowering. I had unknowingly run out of garlic, so used garlic powder instead. And we always use Ponzu sauce instead of Soy Sauce, but those were the only, minor, changes I made. I had thin cut steak I marinated for about 24 hours and the flavor was wonderful! My family really enjoyed the flavor, so I will definitely be keeping this recipe on hand!

Excellent marinade. I used this on a small ribeye loin. I vacuum sealed this along with a loin, set in the fridge for most of a day, then to the freezer until today, 2 months later. It was juicy and flavorful.

Very tasty. I threw in sliced mushrooms with the onions. I broiled the steaks and pan seared the mushrooms and onions until the juice was gone. Very tasty over the steak, and/or as a side. The meat was tender and good. I used infused vinegar- garlic, and basil- because I had it handy. It is not necessary. Very flavorful just the way it is written.

I am not the cook in the family so I was looking for a fairly easy and highly rated marinade for our petite sirloin steaks. I made this recipe but did not have lemon juice. I use chopped dried onion instead of a fresh, granulated garlic instead of fresh, added Montreal steak seasoning, basil leaves, and to spice it up 1 tbsp red pepper. I mixed it in our Vitamix and it made a thicker marinade. I did one pass with the tenderizer on each side of each steak and then pierced both sides of the steaks so the marinade could seep in to the meet. Delicious!
