Reviews
These were so easy to make, and they were very, very tasty! Not too sweet, and not sour at all like some margarita mixes. I thought they were perfect. Also, the lime sherbet with the lemon sorbet created such a pretty green color in the margarita glass! I followed the recipe exactly as written, and they were perfect! It would be fun to try this recipe with different flavor sorbets and sherbets!
My fiance and I had these at the end of a long day with family and they definitely hit the spot!
These margaritas are wonderful! They are a lot less messy than the traditional blended margaritas. We tried a different version, though, the store didn’t have lime sorbet, so we used mango with the lemon. I’m ready to try other new flavors next time.
but to make it more like a margarita, switch the lemon and lime amounts…I went equal on both and I liked it better, going 4 parts of the lime to 2 parts of the lemon made it too sweet…margaritas should be a little more tart! Plus, a little more triple sec doesn’t hurt! (much! ha! ha!) 🙂
These were okay, but I wouldn’t call them Margarita Slushes, they were more like margarita smoothies. I prefer mine to be more slushy like a traditional frozen margarita.
My boyfriend and I made this recipe when my parents came over for dinner. A few months later, we decided to have a Mexican-themed dinner because we were tired of pizza. He asked me to make these, and as if that were’nt enough, these are so delicious that I am happily married over them!
great for entertaining guest and not alot of work, love this
These were GREAT! I have made them 3 weekends in a row, for entertaining and just for me and my husband!
THIS WAS GREAT, GETS YOU FEELIN GOOD ON THE 2ND ROUND. EASY TO MAKE AND TASTE WWAAY BETTER THAN THE ONE I HAD AT RED LOBSTER.
I really liked this one. I think that this recipe called for a bit too much tequilla for my taste so I kinda had to experiment a bit before I got it just right for me. Other than that I loved it.
