This dish for roasted chicken is so simple and delectable. To taste, season. Although pasta also works, I served mine with rice pilaf.

Reviews
I found that they did not have much flavour besides the chocolate chips. Maybe add some extra vanilla? Otherwise, they turned out perfect! Soft and moist.
no
I’m sorry to be a bad reviewer but I must say I found the dough really crumbly and when I when i checked the oven after the timer went off they were barely baked and I was using the recommended time.
I’m not a great cookie maker and I have to say that this one right here is a winner hands down. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Grandchild taste tested and firmly approved!!!
These were really good
Who ever made these…. Thankyou SOOO much. These cookies are delicious. Ignore the people that don’t like them and keep making awesome recipes!
Best light version I’ve found so far! They really gave me that chocolate chip cookie taste without all the fat and calories. After reading some of the comments from others, I decided to make the following changes to this recipe: I used 3 TBSP butter and 3 TBSP no sugar added apple sauce, reducing the water to only 1 TBSP. I also used a bit less brown sugar (half a cup) and they still came out plenty sweet. For the flour, I used one cup all purpose and half cup spelt flour, and I did increase the baking soda to 1 tsp to help keep them from flattening. I also used mini chocolate chips instead of regular and refrigerated the dough before baking. They held their shape nicely while baking. After about 12 minutes in the oven, they came out perfect! I was really quite pleased with the result. With the above changes, these are 90 calories per cookie, with 1.7g saturated fat and 9.3g of sugar. A nice compromise for those trying to manage their weight. I was able to eat two of them with no guilt. I’ll definitely be making these again. 🙂
It was fantastic. The only weird thing is they flattened as they baked…
Was great I wasn’t really expecting it to turn out like a thin crisp cookie though
Changed 1/2 cup of mixed sugars for three tbs of honey, added orange zest, cacao and a pinch cinnamon and nutmeg.
Quick and easy to make. Husband: these are so sot, me: from scratch, him: wow! So I guess they’re a win LOL I did use the suggestion to refrigerate for 30min. I think it helped with pan placement.
I used 4 Tblsp butter and 2 Tblsp applesauce instead of 6 Tblsp margarine or butter, and they turned out well.
These were the easiest cookies I’ve made in a long time! I didn’t have semi-sweet chips, so I used milk, and they still tasted fabulous.
I double the recipe every time, and they turn out great! I use one whole egg rather than two whites, otherwise I just double everything as written. My family doesn’t notice that they are lighter than the usual cookies.
Seriously the worst recipe ever! I followed the recipe and directions exactly and these came out paper thin and stuck to the pan even when cooled, a waste of ingredients! Do NOT recommend!
We’ve tried so many different recipes for chocolate chip cookies, but this one takes the cake 🙂 perfectly fluffy and soft without being mushy or too sweet. Highly recommend!
Comes out great
Mine sucked. Way too much water I’m guessing?
WOW! WOW! WOW! I really loved these cookies!! I also let the dough set in the fridge for about 30 mins before cooking them. I would never guess they are healthier than a regular cookie!!!
Made these once, they were ok. Not on the sweet side at all which is good considering the chocolate chips in them. I would recommend this recipe and would make them again.
I used 1 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of whole wheat. I also added 2tbls of flax seed. They turned out awsome, kids ate them up!! just dont over bake…
