Creamy and delicious. Was concerned the apple would take away from the smoothness of the smoothie but with the Bananas, kiwi and plant milk this drink was on point. Refreshing and filling. Added a handful of spinach and a few dollops of homemade plain yogurt. Sliced and froze the banana and some of the plant milk (in silicone icecube tray) the night before making the smoothie. Great base recipe for a refreshing smoothie.
It was great! I used more ice, however. One of my favorite smoothies for sure! I’ll definitely make it again.
if you don have maca powder i substituted it with cacao powder it was great ! 🙂
I found it tasted better when you substituted a couple cups of strawberry’s instead of kiwi’s
I hate kiwi but loved this.
I sure liked this. Fresh and not too sweet. I used almond milk in place of cow’s milk. The maca powder gives it a butterscotch sort of flavour, different and nice but being new to maca powder I only used 1/2 tsp and thought it was fine this way. Thank you Krissu for sharing this recipe.
