This is a nourishing dish. You will enjoy this because I am a bit of a wild chef. Test it out! With cheese and bacon on top of a pork chop, what could possibly go wrong? Simple to create, but you have to move quickly.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 pork chops
- 4 dashes onion powder
- 4 dashes garlic powder
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese
- 12 slices bacon
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops; season with onion and garlic powder. Cook until pork chops are no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side.
- Transfer pork chops to a plate; top each one with 2 slices of Cheddar cheese. Place a bowl over the plate to trap in heat.
- Place bacon into the skillet; cook until crisp and no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Wrap 3 slices of bacon around each pork chop.
- Any variety of cheese and bacon can be used.
- If you don’t move quickly in step 3, the cheese won’t melt and the bacon won’t sink into the cheese.
- If you want it to melt more, put the bacon-wrapped pork chops back in the skillet again on low heat, covered, until it melts further.

I kept hearing “Mmmmm sooo good” from across the table, so I guess we can call this a winner! I just fried them up in a pan and put pepper jack cheese and hormel real bacon bits on top. Served with baked potato.
used pepperjack cheese and it was amazing the hubby kept saying “you knocked this one out of the park” i really love it when he enjoys a meal that is so easy to prepare
Delicious. I used American cheese slices and precooked bacon for less mess.
Very good and a hit with the kids. I salted the first side against the pan with olive oil, then seasoned the raw tops as instructed and with more salt. Flipped over, added cracked pepper to the cooked tops, and when it was nearly cooked through I added the cheese and (precooked) bacon before putting the lid on. Turned out great, and the cheese that spilled over the edge and toasted against the pan was tasty.
Was simple and tasty. dinner in 20 minutes was so good.
Came out good. Made it a suggested, next time might add a bit more spice. I used a good cheddar and covered the pan to melt the cheese then added an unsalted bacon. Might use a pepper jack next time we make it.
Absolutely loved this. My kids who are super picky ate it so quick.
“I’m a bit wild chef”
I made this for me and my husband the other night and we absolutely loved it. We don’t eat pork chops or bacon often and I’m glad we chose this way to eat it this time.
You really have to be fast! But it’s simple and good. Not much more you could ask for. This is a simple idea and it’ll only turn out as good as you are skilled as a chef. Or at porchops ^.^
These were pretty good. I did add more seasoning to the pork. I liked the bacon and cheese combo but you really have to move fast which is tricky. I recommended cooking the bacon in a separate skillet as the chops are cooking so that they get done at the same time.
