I substituted the marinade (soy allergen) with a Mango Sweet Chili sauce. Wow. Never made kabobs before, thinking would be a hassle. NOPE, and delicious

I used shrimp with chicken instead of beef. Tasted great!!

I made this recipe pretty much as is. I did use real garlic instead of powder. I also added cayenne and salt and pepper. Delicious!

I have done both steak and veggies with this marinade and both turned out great! Veggies only need to marinade for about 1 hour (peppers, mushrooms, onion, and zucchini), but the steak is better the longer it sits. Also I ran out of time to BBQ so I have put the meat and marinade into a frying pan and sautéed it on the stove top. Both ways it turned out great! (I added 1/2 tsp onion powder to the marinade too)

My adult sons and I loved this! We tossed the mushrooms, not a fan. Instead of marinating for 4 hours, I vacuum sealed it for 40 minutes. It was perfect except I should have doubled the recipe.

This marinade was so good, it even just smelled good. I was worried the honey would overpower the teriyaki but it didn’t. I used minced garlic instead of garlic powder and I’m glad I did because little bits of garlic stuck to the meat. I marinated the meat overnight, which it really needed and added the veggies in the morning about 4 hours before the kabobs went on the grill. I did add pineapple to the kabobs but I did not marinate those, which they didn’t need it anyway. The marinade and kabobs were a hit with everyone and our 5 year old daughter loved it too. Great marinade recipe.

These were the best for our Sunday Funday family dinner. The people claiming there was no flavor are quite mistaken as the flavor was amazing. Maybe my palate is not as good as theirs…

this is the best kabob recipe I have ever had!

Made these over a camp fire while camping. Family loved them! The longer they marinate, the better they are!

Easy to prepare but the marinade did not seem to have much penetrating power. I only made it once although the “I made it” link somehow was showing 3 preparations

Perfect Kabobs!

Made it without changing anything with the marinade. We used beef and chicken along with grape tomatoes added along with the bell peppers, onion and mushrooms. Also used the marinade on shrimp for an appetizer. Marinated for 24 hours. HUGE hit with my husband and myself!

tried this with some grilled sweet corn.the marinade was awesome and the flavors flowed through out and stayed moist and delicious.definitly a family and friends keeper.try it you won’t be disappointed. I give it a 4 just because my daughter always says there’s room for improvement

Tasted so good. Next time I will grill veggies and meat separate

Pretty good. We did steak and shrimp – both very moist and tasty. Used fresh ginger and garlic – instead of powder. Also, added some sesame oil. Marinated the veggies separate from the meat, and used some of the marinade from veggies for dipping after. Will make again.

Easy to Grill. Great Taste!

Even though I didn’t have adequate time to marinate, my family loved this recipe!! I added sausage and orange peppers, and I think it was a good ideas as other reviewers mentioned to marinate meat and veggies separately. I added fresh garlic also.

This was a great recipe, particularly for a first time kabob maker. I received excellent feedback from guests who had no idea I didn’t know what I was doing! I will try it again, for sure
