Ingredients
- 1 (25 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 (16 ounce) jar prepared Alfredo sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil; boil the ravioli until it floats and the filling is hot, 6 to 8 minutes; drain.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken to the skillet, season with the Italian seasoning, and cook and stir until the chicken is no longer pink in the middle, about 15 minutes.
- Spread about 1/2 cup of Alfredo sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange enough ravioli over the sauce to cover the bottom of the dish completely. Top the ravioli with about half the cooked chicken. Sprinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese over the chicken; season with salt and pepper. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Bake in the preheated oven until heated through completely and the mozzarella cheese is melted, about 25 minutes. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the top of the dish; return to oven to cook another 5 minutes before serving.

Very good recipe, followed exactly, going to add spinach ,mushrooms ,garlic and onions all sauteed with the chicken should be very good
Amazing !! I marinated my chicken with lemon infused olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and seasoning. Then grilled it on the grill. Then followed the recipe. Fresh Mozzarella, fontina, and Parmesan. AMAZING
I have made this dish a few times now! It’s always a family hit!!
I make this recipe often and have for years but I usually omit the chicken and add spinach to a homemade alfredo sauce (for my vegetarian granddaughter) and ocassionaly use Johnsonville spicy Italian saugage. So many different variations possible and it’s an excellant recipe. I can be made ahead of time too…
Husband and two teenage boys said this was a “restaurant quality” dish! I added sweet yellow and orange peppers, grape tomatoes?, and fresh spinach and it was amazing. Will definitely add to our meal rotation!
I made this with red sauce as alfredo is pretty high in calories. I sauteed onions, mushrooms and garlic and layered with the italian sausage ravioli and fresh spinach. I did not add chicken at all. I left out the mozarella cheese and only used some grated parm on the top, again to reduce the calories and this was very good. I made it earlier in the day and then baked later. Super easy.
I did chicken and shrimp….my family loved it…said it was the best pasta dish I’ve made in awhile.
Very good.
absolutely delicious.
So yummy! I added frozen baby peas and made my own Alfredo sauce!
My kids actually loved this meal, which is a big deal considering when it’s dinner time everyone wants to be a food critic. Will definitely be making again!!! Thank you for this great & simple recipe!!!
Made it as is. Everyone loved it!
Delicious! My family loved it. Even my little grandchildren.
Compromising on dinner ideas can be difficult…until I told my boyfriend I was considering this dish. I told him the ingredients; he thought it sounded good. I made it!….. I was told I out-did myself! I added fresh basil after it was baked – Yummy! Next day leftovers included fried onions and peppers. I also topped mine with a balsamic sauce – Delish!! I would use pork or steak for a variation too!!
I liked this meal but felt that I will use more Alfredo sauce next time. I will definitely make this again!
This was a great recipe. kids. love it! I made a few tweaks though. I used fresh four cheese ravioli from the refrigerator section. for the chicken I cut up into small pieces and used Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. And then I cooked it in a pan with butter and 3 cloves of fresh garlic. I did this because the Alfredo sauce in the jar can be bland and I wanted the dish to have more flavor. once the meat was cooked i added the Alfredo sauce to the pan with my chicken and warmed it up. Then I layered sauce, pasta, sauce, cheese. and I did that untill I had two pans. served it with salad and garlic bread. it was awesome!
Really good and not difficult to make
It was good, but I think it was too heavy on the alfredo sauce.
I made it into a vegetarian dish – substituted the chicken and replaced it with broccoli. It was still really good. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of 5 is because I felt that it needed a little more alfredo sauce and a little less parmesan cheese. I will definitely make this again.
This was very easy to make and my kids loved it, will definitely make it again.
Wonderful recipe that is so flexible. I’m looking forward to trying some variations with sauces and adding some vegetables. Will be great for covered dish dinners, and sure to impress! Delightful!
