This bread is fantastic for the holidays! Every time I bring this bread to a holiday get-together, people ask for the recipe. It has a lot of flavor from fresh strawberries, is very moist, and is simple to create. You will be happy you gave it a try.

I made these for a BBQ gathering and they were gone in minutes! They are the most requested appetizer I’ve served – I’ve made them at least 10x in the past six months. Great recipe!
Tasty and super easy to make!
Made these for St Paddy’s Day and they were a huge hit!! I couldn’t find pre cut phyllo so I had a mini pan and used 1 wide mouth shot glass to make the circles and another to push down into the pan. Be sure to use a fork around the inside. It rises like pie crust.
My neighbor made these and brought them over just as the big game started. They were so delicious!! I like them alot better than the recipe that uses the entire jalapeno. she added some chopped green onion to it.
Excellent recipe! I also love it with variations— in scoops instead of phillo, or as a quick microwave dip with chips or carrots. I have also tried using sriracha in place of other hot sauce and crumbled leftover bacon in place of bacon bits. I think I may try making a vegetarian version with diced field roast plant pepperonis in place of bacon. It’s hard to go wrong with this one!
excellent little treats, great flavor!!
The recipe was very easy to follow. I had several fillo trays in my freezer and needed to make some appetizers for pool guests. They were a hit. It made me feel like I was a great cook and was a hit of the night. We played cards and munched on them so much we skipped bbq’ng dinner. We also used the stuffed mushroom and the cannoli recipe.
This was a total hit! I followed the suggestion of others and used “Scoops” tortilla chips instead of pastry, to make a gluten-free version.
I made it first with corn tortilla strips and they were excellent. Then being a Gringo tortilla cook I used a mini muffin pan and made cups from Masa Harina with my corn tortilla recipe. They were even better.
These are amazing and so easy! I have made them twice now. I premake the filling and stuff and bake them when I am ready to eat.
I have made these twice. The second time I used flour tortillas and cut them to fit muffin tin. Sprayed the shells with canola oil and filled them with the mixture. The hubbs thought just a little to much wing sauce. I will continue to make these as they are so yummy!
Made these for Superbowl and they were so good! will definitely make again!
I put the jalapeños on the bbq and charred them. Put in a zip lock and steam for about 5 min. Skin
These were amazing! I didn’t have phyllo dough or tostitos scoop chips on hand, so I used flaky dough in the can. I separated each biscuit into 3 different layers into a muffin pan, then filled with double the recipe and topped with bacon bits. The bacon bits I was skeptical about at first, but they are what made the final taste better…
Turned out delicious but instead of using phyllo shells I used Tostitos scoops and filled with the jalapeno mix. Turned out great. Everyone loved it.
I absolutely love these and so do my foster parents we will definitely make these again
So Yummy, I didn’t have fresh jalapeno’s so I used picked ones.
These were so delicious. I used almost a whole tall jar of jalapeños instead of fresh…a box of cream cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar and two boxes of phyllo cups. (Plus dash of hot sauce and bacon bits on top of course) Turned out great! Next time I want to try everyones scoops corn chip idea! (Phyllo is expensive!)
I recently took this to a Superbowl party and it was a huge hit! So easy to make too. I had everything at home but the jalapenos and phyllo cups. FYI they are in the freezer section if anyone has a hard time finding them at the grocery store! Lastly, I had a lot of leftover filling because I doubled the recipe (..and some), so I used the rest to make stuffed chicken. SO GOOD.
Will definitely make again. Very good
I liked them. Nice Super Bowl appetizer. Substituted sliced turkey for the plyllo (keto) and used muffin tins sprayed with Pam. It worked out well.
