On a hot day, refreshing and healthy! This beverage, in my opinion, tastes better than the expensive commercial version.

My daughter, Alicia’s new passion for cooking “theme” Mediterranean night was a hit with this caprese salad. Brings back her memories of her Sardinia trip.
One of our favorite salads. Simple, easy, and comforting. A nice brut cava pairs nicely. If one is able to find fresh,”bufalo” mozzarella, it takes this simple salad to another level. Highly recommended.
I’m Italian so I make if often but only with Mozzarella di Bufala. No balsamic, it stains the mozzarella!
I added a balsamic vinegar drizzle over the top. Yummy!
Out of this world good! I have never used with fresh basil before, what a difference. I also put salt and pepper as I layer. I fine mist of olive oil and Balsamic. The next day I made the muffin pan omelets and used the left overs of this in them and couldn’t stop eating them.
I love this salad, but I totally agree that high quality ingredients are the difference between exceptional and mediocre.
Exce4llent
I made this with my 2 year-old for grandma and grandpa :-). Tasted great too!
I did all but the basil. I’m afraid I just didn’t have the basil so I just added garlic salt with parsley! Loved it and eat the whole thing! ?? So amazing but not something I can have every day.
High quality Ingredients are key to this recipe
Easy simple and delicious! I used tomatoes and basil from a local farm.
Made it for company. Everyone loved it! !
This is a favorite that I’ve been making for a long time. So simple and delicious! My basil was from a plant that I recently purchased, and good quality tomatoes are a must, too. I enjoyed this as a light lunch on this hot summer day!
Simple and easy to make; and good for people on the go. I think it would be great with any mild dressing like poppy seed or ranch.
Delicious, fresh and extremely easy! I made this for a mid-june reunion and it was a hit! i followed the recipe exactly except for chopping the fresh basil instead of using whole leaves. Thanks for sharing!
A nice alternative to the usual caprese salad. i did follow some reviewers’ suggestions and drizzled a little bit of balsamic.
I just finished using this recipe, very easy to follow. I added a splash of Balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of fresh dill. The taste is super delicious.
Classic. Can’t go wrong.
It is good and very fast. you dont need to waste much time for this. You can have this with any italian dish or just give it to someone who wants to be a fit foodie. Sober but fantastic.
I followed the recipe, had smaller tomatoes so cut them up in to bite-sized pieces, as I did for the mozzarella. Very good, I’ll be interested in to try this next time with some drizzled balsamic!
Perfect as written!
