I came across this delicious, simple salad many years ago when on a work trip to Novi Sad, Serbia. This salad is great if you want a beautiful, fresh, summertime tomato salad with a little “kick” to it. I adore spicy cuisine, and the banana pepper really makes this salad stand out.

Absolutely loved this recipe! It’s a crowd favorite at my football parties! The bacon really sets it apart from other dips I’ve had! Thanx Mrs. Seals! This is a keeper!!
I came across this recipe several years ago and it has been a hit every time I make it. I make almost everything from scratch, from the garlic cream cheese to the spinach. And, I always double the recipe because it goes just that well. Also, I lessen the bacon by more than half because I feel like the bacon is too overpowering with 16 slices.
This was amazing! I made a healthier version I substitute fat free Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and used light Mayo. Kept everything else the same and I loved it
Delicious and easy to make!! I used garden medley cream cheese and added1 tablespoon of minced garlic, very very flavorful and reheats well!
I loved this recipe. No changes needed.
I had some fresh spinach I needed to use up before it went bad so I made this delicious appetizer! I used about 5 big handfuls of fresh spinach, chopped it and then sautéed until wilted (the amount of cooked spinach was about equal to the amount of chopped artichokes). I also only had plain cream cheese and canned artichokes in water so I had to add in some flavor that was missing – I added 3 large minced cloves of garlic (raw) and I also sautéed a 1/2 of a sweet onion, chopped, with a little butter until translucent. I also used plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream and omitted bacon as I don’t eat pork. I know, I’m rating a recipe based on substitutions but personally, I always read the comments to get ideas on what substitutions will work because I never seem to have any of the right ingredients on hand so hopefully this will help someone else. It’s a very flexible recipe and will definitely make again with some other combinations (jalepenos and waterchesnuts would both be good to add)!
Excellent! Quickly became a Holiday must have for us. For some color I added a jar of drained red pimentos for Christmas color.
I have made this many times for different occasions. People are always asking me for this recipe!
I will definitely be making this recipe again! It was delicious. My husband would like me to add more sour cream and cheese to it to make it creamier. I loved all the artichokes in it!

Yummy!!!
I made it today. For my brothers baby shower. I had a hard time finding the garlic herb cheese spread at stores around here so I just added a spoon full of minced garlic and it was GREAT! Thank u for the recipe.
Great- kids loved it!
I make this dip every New Years!!! It is amazing and easy!
It turned out delicious!
This was the first appetizer to be slicked up! The bacon is what makes it extra good!
This is awesome. I used fresh spinach in it. I’ll need to double the recipe next time.
This is my go to Artichoke and Spinach Dip. Make sure the bacon is fried hard in the pan. Don’t try to cut corners and bake it (I did that once.) I also remove any part that is chewy. It doesn’t last long in my house, but after a few days, the bacon is not as crispy. I get compliments on this Dip every time I take it to events. People comment on the bacon, so don’t skip on the bacon. I’ve tried several other versions, but this is the final winner!
This dip was good, just not as good as I thought it would be. It has too much bacon in it.
One word… “Amazing”. Thanks for sharing this recipe
Bacon made it the best so far!
