Made it for New Year’s Day. Followed recipe. Everyone loved it! Will be saving this one for future events.

I followed the recipe exactly except instead of cayenne I used an everglades Cajun seasoning. The first time I made this recipe was to bring to a party. Served with toasted (hearty- sourdough or itialian) bread chunks. It was a huge hit. Everyone wanted the recipe. I’ve since made it several times, always a crowd pleaser. I’ve served it in a bread bowl too, which is delicious. Just be careful to cover the bread with foil so it doesn’t burn while you’re heating the dip. Enjoy!

This will be my third time making it over the years for Xmas Eve. It’s a bit spicy (or at least I made it spicy). Super big hit.

Ive made this dip at least 4 times now. I make it according to recipe with no substitutions. It is a HUGE hit every single time! I always get asked for the recipe. My only recommendation is DOUBE IT! It’s delicious left over and we’ve even eaten it cold the next day. This will be my signature dish from now on. Even served it at my daughter’s engagement dinner with filet mignons and it fit right in. Fancy or casual; this dip is IT!

The best! I added 1 tb Old Bay… I liked the extra pop of flavor.

This was a huge hit. I didn’t use the cayenne, and I added 1/2 bag of shredded mozzarella to the mix, then the other 1/2 on top instead of the breadcrumbs. A+

this is my go to dip everyone loves it and requests it over ad over again

Take notice that it makes a good amount. I added Worcestershire sauce and then increased the cayenne pepper for flavor like someone else suggested. Used fresh stone crab (available locally.) Put a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese in the top with some complete seasoning sprinkles over it, baked all of it then broiled at the end to make a cheese crust. It was great!!

Added juice and zest of a 1/2 lemon. Didn’t do the bread crumbs. Also added about a cup of frozen spinach.

For a spicier variation with more kick: 3 tsp cayenne pepper and also sprinkle red pepper flakes on top

Great twist to an old recipe. Spicy!

I added capers, liquid smoke, and fish seasoning and gluten free bread crumbs. Best crab dip ever

No, I made no changes. I took it to a Cocktail Party last night and I had many people raving about how delicious it was! Thanks!

Easy to make and always a hit. I have made it as written and I have made it with 1/2 cup of mayo and 1/2 sour cream, trying to make it a bit healthier. Very good either way.

This dip was a big hit at my New Year’s Eve party last night. I baked it according to the recipe and then transferred the dip to a small crockpot so it stayed warm and creamy throughout the party. I added more breadcrumbs and chopped onion/pepper to the top when I moved it to the crockpot…for a better looking presentation. Good recipe!

Delicious! Always a hit, we love it on garlic bread.

This is an excellent dip. A definite must for any party or family gathering.

I made this for my annual Christmas party and it was a hit. Some of the less social folks in the group literally sat around the dip like a Templar guarding the Holy Grail and they devoured it. I had everyone who actually got to taste it, asking for the recipe. I’m having a Christmas eve party tonight and this time, I’m making two dishes of it!

I don’t know what the problem was with this recipe, because typically the AllRecipes are so delicious. But it tasted very “fishy.” I used real crab that was fresh (and expensive) so just can’t figure it out. It was fairly bland and dry too. Disappointing!

Used crushed Durkee Fried Jalapeno’s for the topping. Took it to a party, it was a huge hit. Will keep this recipe!
