Honeydew Juice With Chocolate Syrup

An excellent recipe for eggnog. Although pudding may seem weird, the finished dish is fantastic.

Ingredients

  1. 6 honeydew wedges, cut into cubes
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 8 ice cubes
  4. 2 tablespoons white sugar
  5. 2 tablespoons hot water
  6. ¼ cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Place honeydew in a blender and top with 1 cup water. Blend until juice smooth, about 2 minutes. Add ice cubes and blend for 2 minutes more. Pour honeydew juice into 2 glasses.
  2. Mix white sugar and hot water together in a bowl until sugar is dissolved; stir into juice. Stir 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup into each glass.

I really did not care for this. I thought the combo sounded totally out of the box, which it was. Flavor wise it did not work. I took 3 sips and wound up pouring it down the sink. Sorry for such a harsh review but I just could not drink it.
