Perfect. So delicious. First time with new bread machine. I put warm water in pan to warm it and then dried it before I put I ingredients. My kitchen was cold. I thought it might make a difference.

The recipe was pretty good, I cooked this meal two times. The first time I followed the expect recipe and it turned out pretty good, second time was even better. I accidentally cooked it longer than it said because I forgot the bread was in the oven, but when I took it out it was soooo good. 8.5/10

Great recipe, I add chia, ground flax, sunflower seeds, and an egg to make heartier version. Or cinnamon and raisins. Always turns out good. Thanks

I followed directions as stated. The bread sunk in the middle and the crust is very hard. I haven’t tasted it yet. What did I do wrong? Is it my machine? Phyllis from Oshkosh

I had to give it a four star review because I went off the reviews of other. I did the 1/4 c honey, 2 c whole wheat and 1 c bread flour. With those it was great. I will go back and try the original just because I feel I owe it to the person who gave us this recipe. Thanks. Update : I made this recipe as written and it was fantastic. Came out perfect. It was great for my peanut butter and honey sandwich. Will be making again.

I made straight from recipe, came out very gummy. Will try again and read reviews. If I decide to bake in oven, what size pan should I use?

Followed the other recipes, substituted butter for oil, 2 cups wheat & 1 cup bread. 1/4 cup honey…still a little dry so may use milk instead of water next time. Overall great for my 2nd loaf!

Made loaf following other reviewer’s tweaks using 2 cups wheat flour, 1 cup white flour, 1/4 cup honey 1 tsp salt and 2 tbs butter. I also added 1 tbs vital wheat gluten It was easy and very tasty. I will definitely make it again

Probably should have added a small amount of gluten to it. Could have used a little more fluff to it.

I increased the honey to 1/4 cup. Love the texture and flavor of this bread.

Good recipe. I followed suggestions of others and used 1c whole wheat, 1 cup bread flour, 3/4 tsp salt AND added 4tsp gluten to make softer sandwich bread.

Beside the amount of calories per slice , it’s well worth the eat. Excellent! Good texture and flavor.

I made this and followed several of the other reviews. I also live about 4700 feet so I used 1 cup +1TBS of warm water. I then increased the honey to a 1/4 cup 1tsp yeast 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup white all purpose flour and one tsp salt subtitled butter for the oil. Used my stand mixer allowed to raise until just over the top of loaf pan and then pre heated my air fryer to 375 deg. Placed the loaf pan in the air fryer and cooked at 375 for 33 minutes used an instant read thermometer and checked for internal temperature of 200 deg. The bread came out perfectly great.

I followed what all the other reviewers said and used 2 c wheat, 1 c white, 4T honey, 2T butter and 1 t salt. I weighed my flour instead of measuring. It completely touched the lid of the machine and deflated, ruining the look of the loaf. Tasted great but wow. This is way too much. I made a second batch on dough-only mode and then formed it into 8 sandwich size rolls. Let rise, covered for 30 minutes then bake for 15 minutes on 350. (the second batch had maple syrup rather than honey… not as good!) Next time I use the machine for this recipe, I’m going to adjust it down to 8 servings instead of 10. If that doesn’t work, I’ll just use the loaf pan and the oven like others have suggested. I rated it four stars because it really does taste great but it is just too much for the machine.

Like others I used 1C flour, 2C whole wheat flour, and 3Tbsp molasses in place of honey. The loaf is very tasty. I think I will get it ready in the machine, then bake in the oven next time. A good recipe. Thanks.
