Reviews
This recipe is tasty and easy, but the butter-brown sugar-honey mixture is not strong enough to bind the cereal and marshmallow together into squares. I let it cool for over an hour and it still fell apart when “cutting”. I recommend adding marshmallows to the pan when mixing the butter-brown sugar-honey mixture to help it stick better, like a rice krispy treat.
I’ve just seen this on The Kitchen, and I knew I had to make it and luckily I already had all the ingredients! Mann… this is GOOD!
These were really good. I know my 5 year old will love them. I actually let the marshmallow melt into the Cheerios. That might help it keep it together easier. A good recipe for kids to help make. Thanks Jeff!
Tasty but even after letting sit for two hours they still fell apart when cutting, we froze them the cut into squares.
Easy, quick, delicious, and my 3 year old loved stirring everything together. He was so proud when it was all done and ready to eat!
