Needed ranch super fast for husband’s lunch salad to take to work .It was perfect. And the taste was good. I used recipe except I added more pepper and hubby likes spicy so I added a little Frank’s hot sauce & used pink Himalayan salt Perfect for fast and easy. Thanks!!!

This is pretty good.. The mix is a great idea! For me, I added dill and tarragon, for more like a well known shelf staple. Great idea!

Had everything on hand and it tasted great as a veggie and chip dip. We used it with 3/4 c Greek yogurt, 1/3 c Miracle Whip and 1/3 c sour cream. We reduced the salt to a 1/2 t and increased parsley by 1/2 t.

Good, a little spicy!

Subbed for the real thing. Worked!

Very good start. Just missing chives. Thanks for sharing!

Just ok for us. I thought the recipe was too salty and didn’t taste like a ranch dressing to me. I missed the fresh herb flavor.

Made as written to begin with and this tasted nothing like ranch or the ranch packets you buy. I ended up doubling the ingredients ( I was making for a dip) and that still wasn’t enough so I ended up adding a teaspoon of dill and then it was perfect and more ranch like. As written this is extremely bland. Sorry.

I love making homemade seasoning mixes instead of buying those packets with added unwanted ingredients and fillers. As others have said about this recipe though, I find that omitting the dill is a mistake for ranch.

This was good but I would cut back on the pepper next time for personal preference.

Very easy to throw together. Love that I had everything on hand. I cut the seasoning salt in half it was plenty. Great that you can adjust to your own tastes. Dill, as mentioned in other reviews, would be a nice addition.

Super easy, and a good recipe to have when you need ranch seasoning mix in a pinch.

This was pretty good, but I don’t know if it was very ranch-like with the dried thyme instead of dill. It went fine with wings though!

Thanks for the GREAT recipe BEC. People can add or remove ingredients to fit their taste or their version of ranch dressing. Everyone in my house loved it!

All you can taste is salt!!!

I thought this was a much better option than using the chemical and salt laden stuff sold in stores. I completely omitted the salt and increased the other seasonings to taste. I also looked up a recipe for seasoned salt (from this site) and added paprika and tumeric. Sounds odd but it worked for us!

I really like this. Like others I added dill (1/8tsp), reduced pepper (3/8 tsp), and reduced salt (1/4 tsp). I am on a low sodium diet and I think I could have cut back on salt a little more. With the changes I made the recipe made a little over 2 tsp. I added the whole amount to 2/3 cup sour cream for a nice low sodium veggie dip.

I mixed this with cream cheese to make a spread for lavish roll-ups. Everyone loved them. Also, it makes a lovely dip mixed with sour cream. I sprinkled it on zucchini with Parmesan to make oven fries. Each recipe benefits from the addition.

Too salty.

I use this recipe to add to my crockpot buffalo chicken recipe in place of the store bought dry ranch dressing. It is outstanding!
