I used the raspberry zinger and peach instead of the lemon. It’s delicious. I have also used the raspberry with orange tea. Very tasty.

We ended up throwing it away. It tasted horrible definitely not like iced tea.

I love, love, love ice tea but this tasted like, as another person posted, medicine. I had to throw it al away. Such a waste,

I used Hibiscus-Raspberry tea and Citrus Kiss with the apple juice and it’s delicious. Plan to sip on it in the evenings in place of snacking.

Stick with using the red zinger tea as it contains Hibiscus flower blossoms (the red color) and has been shown to be a powerful anti-oxidant (much more powerful than blueberries). It is however rather bitter when brewed by itself. The apple juice moderates the bitter flavor. I also use pomegranate juice, or a mixture of natural healthy berry fruits, with modest sugar levels (“Lite”), to make this a healthy summer cooler. Add the fruit juice in the amount that your tongue finds acceptable.

I’ve become addicted to this tea! I’ve found that the type of apple juice used makes a big difference in the flavor of the finished product. It tastes much better with pure apple juice, NOT from concentrate. Most commercial brands of apple juice in the grocery stores (Mott’s, Seneca, Apple & Eve, etc. are made from concentrate. Martinelli’s (filtered is the best, but Walmart makes a Great Value brand of 100% apple juice (they have two kinds so be sure to get the one labeled “not from concentrate” that tastes good too, and costs less.

Saw this on the show yesterday, bought ingredients today. My family loves it! Store didn’t have Red Zinger, but we substituted Raspberry Zinger and it was delicious!

I LOVE this stuff! It’s so refreshing! Ina…I don’t know how you got this recipe from Bernard. I have been begging him for years and he would just say, “Just some herbal tea and apple juice” Thank you for getting this recipe and sharing it with all of us!

Delicious, also works with other berry teas when you substitute the Red zinger for something else, and pomagranate juice too!

I loved this tea, will switch up the flavors one day. I use less apple juice, like 3 cups. That is perfect for me.
