Great recipe, and the kiddos loved it. Instead of the banana, we took a large marshmallow and cut it with scissors to make realistic-looking collars. Then, we didn’t have to worry about the banana at all.
It was amazing
You can use the longer picks to make all fit.
I would have given these five stars but there was no way that all the fruit would fit on a toothpick! I had to leave the banana off which looked terrible, so I went back to the reviews. Luckily I didn’t have to read all 150 to find the hint to only use half a grape. That worked perfectly and looked much more realistic.
I added an extra banana slice for a collar! Tip: slice banana a little thick so it doesn’t split when pushing onto skewer.
The kids I made this for at a Christmas party loved these. I did add s’more marshmallows to the bottom, so he had a Santa beard as well!
My adaptation to make it 100% real food: Cotton Ball: String Cheese Hat: Raspberry Head: Green Grape Suit: Strawberry Boots: Bluberry
So cute! And very healthy as long as you use organic berries and grapes. My family and friends loved this.
Made as is & was a big hit; even from my 31 yr old grandson.
So much fun to make these kabobs. Big hit with the party.
Simple and cute. I turned a few marshmellows red after handling the strawberries. Next time I will thread all the grapes, then bananas, then strawberries and wash my hands and then thread all the marshmellows last.
Grandbabies loved this!
Grandchildren loved this, and it is safe for my “allergic to everything” grands.
Made these for a holiday party – went over well, especially with the kids!
It was a hit! The combination of fruits is delicious! My bananas only browned a little tiny bit but no one cared. I made it a few hours before the event ??
These were easy to make and I must say, they were a hit!
These were easy to assemble and were a smash at the Christmas dance party. The grapes I used were large so I cut them in half and placed the cut side next to the banana which I think gave more of a little grinch look. However they lose a point because the banana slices began to brown before the party.
I made these as described – except that: a) I used tall, white lollipop-type sticks, and b) the store was sold out of strawberries, so I had to use raspberries but they were great. I also added an additional marshmallow under the banana which I think gives the Grinch more of a collar. As someone else showed in their picture, I served these standing up in a glass. Yet another new family holiday tradition is born from the wonderful recipes submitted by great folks here to Allrecipes!
Very easy & very cute. Used raspberries instead of strawberries. Dipped the bananas in orange juice. Found longer toothpicks in the spice & baking aisle. We instead of a marshmallow top I used yogurt covered raisins.
Added blueberries in place of marshmallow. Turned out great. Nice light taste and healthy
my girls loved making and eating them, it was a big hit
