It’s a keeper
I made it nearly exactly as described (only subbed regular white sandwich bread instead of sourdough) and it was delicious. My mind started reeling with how you could amp up the mayo spread even more, adding chopped jalapeno or cilantro, hot sauce, etc. You can really tailor this one to you.
I made these tonight for dinner and that’s are the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely make these again so easy to do.
amazing
I decided to do something different for dinner and this was PERFECT!! That sauce makes a huge difference!! Will definitely be making again!!
I added thinly sliced tomatoes. Thanks for a simple, easy recipe that’s very good!
This was a nice change. I used wheat bread and muenster cheese, cause that’s what I had on hand.
ON POINT!!!! that is all.
I used queso velveta cheese instead of pepper jack. This was very good. Made oven fries with it.
Hice el sándwich de pavo y queso a la parrilla. Estaba delicioso. Usé pan italiano, queso suizo, pavo y pimientos picantes. El emparedado resultó dorado y el queso se derritió perfectamente. Muchas gracias por una excelente receta.
3.16.18 Didn’t have sourdough bread, used white bread, but this was very nice. Friday night dinner along with a bowl of soup, a small portion of baked beans, and some pickles…EASY!
I was so hungry I didn’t melt the cheese all the way and I also used wheat bread, but I am immensely happy with how this turned out and I will be making it again! I’ll also probably use that spread in other recipes as well.
Loved it! So easy!
I was looking for a new twist on a turkey melt, and this recipe totally hit the mark! The mayo/salsa mixture was outstanding! I never would have thought to create a sauce with that combination, but it absolutely works! Thanks for a great recipe 🙂
Good sandwich. Loved the pepperjack cheese and sourdough bread. Next time will make the mayo spicier. Well received here.
First time, I followed the recipe to the T. My family loved it! Second time, I added a few drops of hot sauce to the mixture for a little more kick. They loved it even more. They thought it was new recipe, lol! My son added a few spinach leaves in his and I took a bite and like it- great way to add some greens. It’s a keeper!!
Absolutely fantastic sandwich. I used Miracle Whip and added black pepper, onion powder, and a little Lawry’s seasoned salt to the mix. Also used Ciabatta bread and shaved turkey instead of sliced. My wife and kids loved them!!
No changes, yes I will make it again
Great sandwich. I did not have pepperjack or sourdough on hand. Substituted whole grain oatmeal bread and four cheese shredded Mexican cheese plus added sauerkraut.
Great sandwich for turkey leftovers. This was delicious. I didn’t have sourdough bread so I used the leftover dinner rolls. Perfect !
We had ham for Thanksgiving, so I thought I would try it with ham. Absolutely delicious! I made it just as the recipe suggested. My husband wants it again!
