Good Water

  4.7 – 5 reviews

With the addition of basil, parsley, and onion flakes, this pie is bursting with tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and cottage cheese. Use canned tomatoes and dried basil in the winter, but treat yourself to fresh in the summer, and you can eat this pie all year long!

Ingredients

  1. 5 quarts water
  2. 3 cups sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons citric acid powder
  4. 1 tablespoon lemon extract
  5. ½ bag of ice cubes
  6. 3 lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Stir water, sugar, citric acid, and lemon extract together in a punch bowl until sugar and acid are completely dissolved; add ice and lemon slices.
  2. Citric acid can be tough to find so make sure you have it on-hand prior to the event you want to make it for. Some grocery stores have it or can special order it. The internet is always a good source.

This was phenomenal! Followed the recipe exactly except cut all ingredients by half for a smaller pitcher. Perfect summer drink – in fact, my husband & I like this better than regular lemonade because it isn’t tart. Thank you for this recipe!

This is perfect for large groups! No it’s not fresh squeezed lemonade but you will like the flavor of this and it’s easy on the budget. Citric acid powder can be easily found at Walmart in the canning aisle.
