This giant version of one of our favorite chocolate treats has a surprise inside — crunchy-creamy Reese’s Pieces.

Ingredients
- Nonstick cooking spray, for the pan
- 18 ounces milk chocolate, chopped (about 2 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1/3 cup saltine crackers, finely crushed (about 10)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups candy-coated peanut butter candy, such as Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Spray a 9-inch tart pan with cooking spray. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler (alternatively, use a heatproof bowl set over– not in– a pot of simmering water). Keep the chocolate warm over low heat until ready to use.
- Add the peanut butter, confectioners’ sugar, saltines, butter and salt to a large bowl and blend with an electric mixer on medium speed until well combined. Fold in the candy-coated peanut butter candy.
- Pour half of the chocolate into the prepared pan. Freeze until the chocolate is set and hardened, about 10 minutes.
- Spread the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate in the pan with an offset spatula, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge. Pour the remaining chocolate over the peanut butter, spreading it over the top so it drips into the open border and no filling is visible. Freeze until set, about 10 minutes. Serve at room temperature.

This is a huge hit! My daughter was able to help me every step of the way which Is amazing!!!! It tastes great. I did use 24oz of chocolate and if I make again I would do more peanut butter mix as the chocolate definitely overwhelms the peanut butter but in order to cover it smoothly I had to add more chocolate.
Made with white chocolate-easy and tasty!!
But I did need 3 cups of chocolate to cover the top

Made this for my boss for her birthday. She adores Reese’s Cups. HUGE hit! Uber easy to make and enjoyed by all!
This dessert is delicious and easy to make. Everyone loved it. The saltines give it the exact texture of a reeses Pb cup. I will definitely make this again.
I only had a 10″ tart pan, so used that and used a little more chocolate, and it worked out fine. Was skeptical about the crackers, but it made the texture of the filling truly excellent! I prefer bittersweet chocolate, so used that, and it was delicious. There were just two of us, and we were happily eating this giant dessert for days. 🙂
I had high hopes but didn’t meet expectations. For me it needed an 8” pan…filling was skimpy otherwise. Wasn’t something I would make again, will stick to peanut butter pie or peanut butter bars.
I think it is a very deliesious food/dessert.
