Delicious. The 2nd time I made it I Added shaved Parmesan and Asiago cheese and substituted olive oil for the butter. Finally I’m a spinach fan!

I’ve been making this for years! The only difference is that I add grated Parmesan (the REAL cheese, not the green container). It’s delicious!

Easy, freshly flavorful, crips and pretty.

I prefer EVOO to butter for this, and mince and bloom the garlic before adding the spinach. I also prefer a splash of balsamic vinegar to the lemon.

This is a very simple, but delicious side dish to add to any meal. I have made this numerous times and it always comes out great.

Great “base” recipe! The possibilities are endless for this recipe. I added some smoked paprika, chili powder, mineral salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. A-Mazing! Very easily could omit the butter for sautéing to keep it dairy free. Don’t rush your garlic. Let it get a nice golden brown before throwing in the spinach. It’s so worth it in the final product. Super easy and fast to fix.

Finally, spinach the whole family loves! Use less butter and a bit of olive oil and it is Weight Watcher friendly! Thank you.

I just made it for the 1st! I used a large package from Sam’s n I used minced garlic n added onion powder also, then I divided it into quart freezer bags so I could use it for other recipes like chicken soup, inlets or just as a side!

Excellent recipe to make spinach taste pretty good! I recommend going extra sparingly on the lemon juice; too much and you’ll overpower every other flavor and end up with bitter spinach. Mediterranean sea salt goes well with garlic powder if you don’t have garlic salt readily available.

The more garlic the better!

So yummy. I haven’t had cooked spinach like this. My husband has and said it tasted fine, but I thought it was fabulous!

Simple and delicious. Followed the advice of a fellow reviewer and added blue cheese crumbles on top. So good with meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

WOW, excellent, best spinach we have ever had, thanks for sharing the recipe! Used the jar chopped garlic as that is all we had, other than that did not change a thing.

Love this recipe simple yet so delicious. I’m to lazy to chop my own garlic. I absoluylove garlic though so I keep minced refrigerated garlic on hand. I used that and it came out GREAT!!!

Tastes great with our fresh spinach from our garden!

I used this recipe as a guide. Heated olive oil and salted butter in a skillet, sauteed minced garlic until fragrant, added spinach. It was pretty good! I will make again.
