This sounds good. I haven’t tried it yet, but I will. Maybe add some chopped anchovies and sun dried tomatoes and serve over angel hair pasta.

Great and easy. The only thing I changed was the dried basil, only because I have a fresh basil plant. My family loved it!

This is pretty good, but nothing special. I may make it again and experiment with adding a little salt or something to give it more flavor. I’m not sure why someone would try to make this into a cream sauce, but to each their own I guess. It’s not really supposed to be a cream sauce.

Good Recipe. I added quite a bit to this for dinner. I have a recipe for Shrimp. Melt a stick of butter on a cookie sheet, slice a lemon and place them on the butter. Layer raw shrimp on the lemons, sprinkle with Italian seasonings. (I used some of the spices called for in the sauce). Bake at 350 for about 15 Minutes. I use Medium shrimp and they cook best in 13. Anyway this produces a lot of melted butter, so I did the shrimp, then used the butter from that plus some for the sauce. Made fettuccine noodles, and served the shrimp and sauce in a bowl for self serve. There was a lot of sauce left over, so I let it harden a little, then stirred it until all the spices were mixed in. It is in the fridge for next time.

So much healthier than the pre-packaged side dishes.

I made this to go on gnocchi. Very good, easy, quick sauce. Nothing special but good in a pinch. I added some salt and pepper.

This was terrible…the reviews were terrible….knorr butter and herb pasta from the bag puts this to shame. This was the definition of bland. Don’t add milk and flour. Once you realize you’ve made a mistake making this, melt some Parmesan cheese in it to make it less terrible.

Do you think the recipe would be any good if I use garlic powder or something?I don’t have any fresh garlic at the moment

I made this for my girlfriend to put on grilled chicken breast instead of pasta. I cooked the chicken breast, then coated it in the sauce on the frying pan, letting the flavor cook through for a couple of minutes on medium-low heat. Tasted amazing.

Needs less oregano

As usual I try to go through the comments and take everyone’s suggestions.. I followed the directions except the oregano and basil I just used a couple of dashes of both. I used sliced red onion and chopped tomatoes for color and flavor. It was absolutely amazing.

Another awesome simple recipe. I smothered my wide egg noodles with this sauce and it is another FAVE.

This recipe is easy to make. I added some sauteed zucchini and chopped tomatoes to it. It tasted very good.

I followed one of the reviews and I’m glad I did. I added flour and milk to make a cream sauce. The seasoning level for this recipe would have been too much if I hadn’t added the milk and flour with some salt. (1 1/2 cup milk and 1-2 tablespoons flour)

Great base. I always add broken saltine pieces and cook until crunchy. Also good with capers and top with Parmesan when served. (It’s not really garlic butter sauce if you make it creamy but I’m sure that’s good too)

Great base with many possibilities! I too made it into a cream and tossed it in with garden fresh steamed brussel sprouts. It was awesome!!! Served with smoked sausage really topped off the flavor burst. A must try! Thanks for sharing!
