I loved this recipe and just winged it on the measurements. Also, I added about 2 tablespoons of sugar to the recipe. Everyone at my house loved the drink! We made several batches and then ran out of ingrediants. I look forward to making them again soon.
On the show Bobby said that a good rule of thumb is to use 3 parts tequila to 1 part lime juice and 1 part Cointreau. I haven’t personally tested it out yet, but hopefully this helps those of you wondering about measurements.
there were no measured amounts to even try the recipe!
If you read the recipe… it says “COMBINE ALL TO TASTE”… that means do it how you like. Figure it out and get over it!
If you look at his Cactus Pear Margarita, you can get an idea of the measurements. It’s not rocket science.
Cointreau – 4oz
Pome. – 4oz.
Tequila – 9oz.
lime juice – 2oz.
Please stop the whining!
Having not watched the show, I am unsure of the quantities of some of the ingredients for this and the tangerine margarita. Would love to try it out once I get this info!
pomergranates are supposed to be very good for you so thats a great excuse to have one of these!
Margaritas looked really good on tv. Was dissapointed to find no measurements. I’m sure they deserve a 5 but was dissapointed no measurements, so I gave a 3.Please in future give exact recipes.
