Frozen Grape Bites

These tiny morsels are delicious! So easy and energizing! These would be delicious on top of cakes or even just as quick nibbles. very wholesome

Ingredients

  1. cooking spray
  2. 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  3. 24 green grapes, frozen

Instructions

  1. Spray 24 miniature muffin cups with cooking spray.
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon cream into each muffin cup. Place 1 grape into each muffin cup, swirling grape in the cream to coat.
  3. Freeze grape mixture until solid, about 1 hour.
  4. If you would like a crust, crush 6 graham crackers and mix with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Spray cups with cooking spray and pack graham cracker mixture into each cup. Then bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 5 to 10 minutes. Then do as listed with grapes and whipped cream.

made this with various kinds of fruit…you can jumble it all in a bowl, freeze it ,& convince yourself it’s better than ice cream. Or make them fun to eat : stick grapes on a kitchen skewer & roll in whipped cream (if you avoid dairy, try rolling in “lime juice syrup” {1 T lime juice with 2 T lite corn syrup/ sugar-water syrup} before freezing). yummy

I used purple grapes (because I had them) and they were small, so I used a candy mold rather than a muffin tin. I think the shape was prettier than a muffin tin would have been anyway. These are simply whipping cream with a grape inside. Upon eating one, you get a burst of sweetness from the grape. They melt really quickly, so they can only be eaten as a quick snack rather than serving them at a party or for guests.
