Reviews
The flour fell off as soon as it went in the pan and my pork chops were carmelized and had a sweet flavor
Simple and good!
I’m not much of a cook. I usually use my pork chops to resole my shoes. These were quite good — the only chops I’ve ever made that weren’t quite overdone. They were quite tasty.
A recipe is just a suggestion not written in stone . Adapt to your taste . People are just letting you know what they did . Try the recipe as is then next time try adding your twist . Don’t condemn because you didn’t put your twist on it
Excellent
used egg and schnitzel great combo
More flour tho.
It’s great!
No flavor.
Not the flavor I expected, not very bready, but still really simple and good!
i followed the recipe. the flour did not stay on. everyone added a review and made a completely difference recipe!!! i did the exact recipe and no bueno.
My wife and I really liked this recipe. Quick and easy to make along with tasting great. Definitely be making it again.
This turned out great. I made half of the recipe for my husband and I. Added a little parsley, garlic salt and chili seasoning to the flour mixture. Served it with onions, stir fried greens, mushrooms and rice.
Excellent recipe and method. I was very tempted to dredge in eggs and/or add bread crumbs but am glad I didn’t. I did add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne and paprika to the flour mixture. I shook the chops in a bag and let them sit in the fridge for about an hour. They fried up very well at 7 minutes per side and were nice and juicy. Thanks so much for the recipe.
Although a definite upgrade over plain fried chops it seemed lacking somewhat. As a fan of big flavour food, second time round I added just a pinch of garlic and some Greek seasoning which did the trick for me. Also used the modified recipe with chicken breasts with a side of roasted peppers, mushrooms and onions. Mmmm
They Look Very Delicious A Whole Lot To
I bought the top quality pork chops with bone in. Once again, after cooking they were too tough to eat. Since pork chops have no fat/marbeling, how do you tenderize them to be moist and tender? I refuse to buy them again unless I know the secret!
Super easy recipe with very few ingredients. Satisfying a family of 7 isn’t easy but this dish made it happen. Definitely using again.
If you do this recipe, step for step, you will be disappointed. I just wanted to try something easier and less messy and I KNEW this wouldn’t work. It’s a tasteless dry pork chop with no kind of breading what so ever because it disappears when you put it in your oil. I knew better.
Need to know how long to cook one pork chop.
After reading the comments, I decided to use the recipe loosely. I put accent(basically a seasoning salt), salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and cumin in the flour mixture. I used almond milk for an egg wash and did TWO coats of batter (the first one with only one fell apart). Fried them for 5 minutes on each side in olive oil. They’re delicious and crunchy and my kids love them.
