Just wonderful!
I bought fresh figs and intended to make fig and apple salad, made this one with pear instead. Glad I did!! Served as 4 small salads to company. I made half the dressing and still had plenty left over for future use. I did not have lemon extract, and did not need, the lemon curd really makes the dressing. Can’t wait to use the rest.
Loved it.. I cut my fig’s in half and pan fried them until soft and a little brown on the cut side. Absolutely wonderful.. Had 2 people who didn’t “like ” figs really enjoy this salad.
Yum, yum, yum! We devoured this! We did not have lemon curd, but compensated with extra honey to give it the sweeter lemon flavor. Also added red grapes, very good!
This was an awesome salad. I did do a little twist where I caramelized the pears with a little bourbon and brown sugar and let them cool down before adding them to the salad. I also toasted the nuts in the same thing. My boyfriend LOVED it!
What a great combo of fruits and nuts and citrus! The dressing was wonderful, I loved using the lemon curd. I will make this salad again.
Loved this recipe. My French friend said that it reminded her of something her mother makes in the summertime in Paris.
