French 75 Cocktail

  5.0 – 1 reviews  • French

The New York Bar in Paris is where the French 75 cocktail was first invented in 1915. Gin, lemon juice, Champagne, and sugar were combined, and it was reported that the result had the same kick as a French 75mm field gin. Straws should be served.

I have made 3 rounds of this. the first exactly to the recipe. I adjusted the second with half the sugar & the 3rd with 1/4 the sugar. Both my wife & I loved it less sweet.
