My husband loved it! I used chopped mushrooms, red peppers, and cherry tomatoes. I cooked the mushrooms and red peppers before adding them to the quiche mixture. I used leftover five Italian cheese and cheddar cheese.
This turned out delicious! Even my fussy husband like it! Wondering if anyone used melted butter instead of only softened. Melted would probably make the batter smooth like most quiche recipes call for.
I made this but I changed it up a bit for breakfast. I used 1/2 tube of breakfast sausage with chopped fresh Spinach and 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk. This is now my family’s favorite breakfast
Great as is and very versatile! Change up the filling, still perfect. Muffin size mini quiche only takes 30 minutes to bake!
Easy, cheesy, and very tasty! Will try with some variations (sauteed onions, red/green bell peppers, sauage, fresh basil, …) now that I know the basic recipe is sound.
I have made this recipe many times & have never been disappointed. You can use whatever you want in it & the bisquick makes it easier without having to make a crust. This time i used Almond Milk, mushrooms, cooked turkey bacon, plant-based butter & spring onion tops. used white cheddar & parmesan to equal what was needed. It came out fluffy. Very glad to have this go to recipe..
Followed recipe. Used 2% milk. It was a success – will make again!
Super easy and quick to mix up. I skipped the veggies and added 1/4 cup of extra ham. I also mixed in some salt, pepper, and Spike seasoning. My only change for next time will be to either add one more egg or reduce the milk…the quiche was a little too moist. Maybe it will firm up once it cools. The flavor is fantastic though!
This was a good recipe for using left over Christmas ham. I cut it in half since it was for just my husband and me. Next time I’ll add a little more biscuit mix to firm it up more.
This is a great recipe but I don’t use Bisquick because of aluminum, so I put into a mixing bowl 3/4 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tsp softened butter, and combined with a pastry cutter. Then I added the 2 cups milk, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 4 eggs, 2 tbsp melted butter, 1 cup ham, 1 cup baby portabella mushrooms, 1 cup chopped baby spinach, 1/4 cup diced onions, 1/4 cup diced green pepper, 1/4 cup diced roma tomato, about 5 oz grated cheddar, and about 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
Easy recipe. Delicious and will definitely make it again. I added onion, asparagus, seasoned salt and pepper. The top came out a little brown after 50 minutes. I would check it around 45 minutes.
I’ve made this many times – never seams to fail to wow everyone!
This is delicious! You can skip the butter if you want to lighten the recipe. We’ve tried this with several different combinations: spinach and peppers; mushrooms and sausage; ground turkey, red and yellow peppers, green chiles, and spinach, and several other vegetarian options. I love this recipe! Super simple and is a great make-ahead meal prep option for the week!
Loved how easy it was to prepare. Great hit! Tastes great!
Very easy to make. Did not change a thing. Family loved it. Making it for Easter brunch. Joel
This recipe is so easy and so good! It is my go-to when I want to break the routine. I change up the meat when I want. I love it
Delicious – a little moist, so I will try cutting down the milk next time just to see. But was good as is.
Easy and great for a weeknight dinner. I went with the recommendation of the other commenter who halved the recipe. I did the same, and also made the biscuit mix using flour, baking soda, etc. I used a glass 8×8 pan and the quiche was about an inch thick when done. I went with frozen spinach. Everything tasted great! Halving the recipe and using an 8×8 pan meant it was done at about 45 minutes. Made four nice-sized servings. The crust was not thick, like a quiche or pie crust. It was just a bit of a thicker bit of the ingredients. If you’re a quiche purist, which I am not, that may bother you.
Easy AND Delicious!
It is very good I made it before and my family love it
Easy, quick prep. Made two of them from left over Christmas ham. 4 stars, only because it could have used (additional) seasoning to earn 5 stars. Yes, real men eat Quiche!
