This is a good, basic sauce for when you’re making pizza and realize you don’t have any pizza sauce in a jar (and I didn’t have tomato paste or crushed tomatoes like a lot of other recipes required). I added a pinch of salt, and I also used a teaspoon of Italian seasonings instead of basil and oregano, and I used garlic powder instead of minced garlic. I know I changed up a lot, but I do appreciate that this recipe gave me the basic measurements.

The main reason I liked this was it was SO easy when I realized I was out of pizza sauce. The flavor is basic. Thank you for the recipe!! 🙂

Perfect easy sauce

This was exactly the simplicity that I needed! I’m keto so did not want the added sugar. I was making a small cauliflower crust pizza and needed a sauce on the fly and this worked perfectly!

This is a GREAT pizza sauce! The only change I made was to add about 1 Tablespoon of tomato paste (the kind in the tube). Just to thicken it slightly.

I followed the review recommendation to cut back the oil and liquid. I did not add sugar and the taste was still good. It tasted just like the pizza

Needed a quick pizza sauce and this more than did the trick. Very yummy!

We usually make sauce from stewed tomatoes. I wanted to use up this little bit of tomato sauce, so I tried this. I followed the recipe BUT I cooked it down to thicken it and take away the canned taste, and I used a little extra garlic and some garlic infused olive oil.

I don’t like most of the sauces I buy because they are too sweet! This one is perfect!

The quickest, easiest and tastiest pizza sauce I have ever made! This is easily adaptable to what you have on hand. If you don’t have fresh garlic or don’t feel like mincing, substitute 1/4 tsp garlic powder. If you don’t have oregano and basil separately, substitute 1 tsp Italian Seasoning. I also like to add 1/2 tsp sugar as other reviewers suggested. Use as the pizza sauce called for in any recipe. My favorite is the “Pizza Rolls” from this site.

Finally I had all ingredients on hand. Quick and delicious! Blended very well with pepperoni and mozzarella for a great tasting pizza.

I substituted garlic powder for the minced garlic. I cannot believe how good this sauce is considering how simple it is.

The only thing i changed was i used garlic powder instead of minced garlic but it was just as good. This was literally the easiest thing I have ever made.

Good sauce if you need something in a pinch. I used garlic powder in place of fresh and also added some onion powder. Comes together quickly and the price is right!
