This simple bread comes together quickly and bakes in 15 minutes. Honey or jams taste fantastic on top of it. Particularly around Easter, we enjoy cooking this.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg
- ½ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 (28 ounce) jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Combine beef and egg in a large bowl. Add bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix together, but do not overmix, as it will get tough.
- Shape into 1- to 2-inch balls.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs in the hot skillet until browned and no longer pink in the centers, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a pot over medium-low heat. Add cooked meatballs to sauce and let simmer for added flavor, about 15 minutes.
- You can use your favorite marinara sauce.

This one is incredible too! Because there is two of us we always have leftovers to look forward to. With these recipes it’s a joy!
Good tasting and easy
This recipe is easy and they are delicious. I made no changes. Thank you.
Full time rving and always looking for easy, tasty recipes I can freeze ahead of time and pull out for a quick tasty meal. These meatballs are not only easy, but quick and delicious. I made two batches – one to eat (meatball subs) and the other to freeze. Thank you!
Was super easy and so delicious, definitely making them again tonight
We liked it very much. Used half the garlic powder. For 2 people it made enough for 6-7 peeps with pasta and a salad, we used Publix marinara sauce and I let the meatballs simmer for a while.
