A very tasty dressing!
I added some celery seeds and a little more sugar to mine but followed the recipe. So simple and so delicious . The kids love it !
Absolutely delicious! I did add a little more sugar but my family likes it sweet!
Delicious. I didn’t have black pepper, so I used white. Wonderful recipe, thank you for sharing❣️
I made this for my Husband. Had a bag of ready to make coleslaw greens. I’ve never made coke slaw so this was pretty awesome to hear my Husband say it was really good. A bit on the tart side but it didn’t get to “sit”. Maybe tonight it will be even better. Really was super simple with a hand mixer. We still both miss his Momma’s Cole slaw (and his Momma) but this was pretty good Oh! I replaced the white sugar with local honey.
It truly is easy and very good. I took a hint from another recipe and used dill.pickle brine instead of the vinegar. Excellent addition.
I’ve never made coleslaw before this. I used Hellmans mayo….. It’s is delicious. Thank you for the recipe.
It was a bit thin but it was light on the coleslaw and my family loved it! My husband that is picky about coleslaw really liked it and it was my first attempt at homemade coleslaw. I recommend using this recipe! Enjoy!
Loved the lemon zing and it was the perfect amount of pepper. The thickness was perfect – nice and light.
very easy and delicious!!! family loved it.
Really good, and as one reviewer noted, celery seed is a nice addition. I’m done buying premade slaw dressings.
Family can’t get enough. Thank you LP
i whisked it in a big quart jam jar then shook it up when I used it again the next day.
i live alone and prefer to make a serving of slaw whenever i want it. i put 1tbsp mayo in a quart ziplock, add a tsp vinegar, a pinch of salt and sugar, a dash of pepper, and a queeze of fresh lime wedge that i then stuff in the neck of my beer. squish the bag up, add a couple of handfuls from the cole slaw package, squish some more and bob’s yer uncle.
I did not like the thin consistency of the dressing nor how it did not “hang on” to the cabbage.
I thought it very good. My husband even liked it. It was “Easy” to make too. I had all the specific ingredients in my pantry like you said.
Wonderful tasting dressing!! Anytime I see vinegar and sugar I know it will be tasty. I made fish tacos, topped the fish with shredded Tri-color coleslaw and drizzled this sauce over the top. The sweetness combined with the tart and mixed with the mild fish was a winning combination! I’m planning on using it with fish, on tuna, ham sandwiches and as a salad dressing. Very versatile!!
Very tasty had everything here at home simple but delicious.
I made this last night and it was wonderful. I just had some for lunch and it was even better. My only change was some celery seed.
It’s good. I had a small cabbage. Maybe 8 cups? I made the recipe +50% more. It’s good. A standard recipe I’d say that you could layer your own twist into. But great as is.
Hot and sweet musstard 1/2 teaspoon and substitute brown sugar and hold on to your seat!!
