This recipe and the recommended sugar cookie type are awful. Do not spend your money to make these cake pops. I ended up wasting money because I had to throw everything out (the dough, the melted chocolate) because the consistency was terrible. After having purchased the ingredients and toppings to make these, I could have ordered a batch or two of these from a bakery.

Easy and a quick dessert.

They were way to mushy and way to sweet. I had to go buy a cake to finish these cake pops up. will never make these again. They did not even taste like a cake pop.

I made these yesterday. I found that the lollipop stick did not stay in the cookie ball. So, I dipped them all in the chocolate first and then pushed the stick thru the chocolate. That worked better but not perfect. While good and my grandaughter loved them, I thought they were a little too mushy for my taste. Will make again for my grandaughter, however.

Worked for me using the ingredients as listed in the recipe. Excellent taste and extremely easy to make.

These just turn out like soft cookie dough. They don’t harden enough to pick up with the stick in order to dip them in the candy melts despite chilling them. If you try they fall apart. I left them over night in the fridge and they’re still too soft. Perhaps it should be half a block of cream cheese not the whole 8oz block…? The video says 10 cookies which is one package plus 8 oz block of cream cheese. The written instructions say 2 packages of cookies plus 8 oz cream cheese which is what I used. I followed the written recipe and did not change anything. I believe the ratio of cookies to cream cheese needs tweaked. I’m giving two stars instead of 1 because although rich, the flavour was ok and it was a simple process even if they didn’t turn out.

I haven’t dipped these yet but wanted to go ahead and post because I completely agree with the other review that the recipe calls for too much cream cheese. Because of the other review I reduced the cream cheese to 5 1/2 oz and I think they scooped up perfect. Too tired to dip tonight but I’ll repost tomorrow after they are completed. The taste seems pretty good.
