Dipping Sauce for Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  1. 3 tablespoons (3 splashes) rice wine vinegar
  2. 1/4 cup dark tamari soy sauce
  3. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1 scallion, finely chopped
  5. 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, a drizzle
  6. Spring rolls, storebought and heated according to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and transfer to a serving dish. Combine and serve with prepared frozen spring rolls.

This was delicious.  I used hot sesame oil to give it some heat and added a pinch of toasted sesame seeds.

Great recipe. I’ve made this twice now. My guests and I found it was a tiny bit too vinegary so I recommend starting with 2 tbsps of rice wine vinegar and add more to taste.
