Danforth Salad

This delicious salad goes well with a barbecue. We enjoy it best when paired with applewood smoked ribs and a refreshing white lady gin cocktail. It is a traditional summer dish from Toronto that takes its name from Danforth Avenue, where a sizable Greek population resides. Not sure when it was created, but as children growing up in north Toronto in the 1980s, we consumed it frequently. Yummy.
