a filling and speedy recipe for a meal or side. Add a milk and flour mixture to the soup and cook it until it reaches the appropriate thickness if you prefer a thicker soup (I do). Enjoy!

Delicious! Going on our winter soup rotation. Made exactly as recipe states.
Delicious, added celery seed, carrots, bay leaf and shredded cheese
As other reviews have stated, this is a good base soup recipe. It just needs “more” for us. I mashed some of the potatoes, added garlic powder and used more celery. After taking the photo, I added carrots, spinach, and red pepper flakes. I used all homemade chicken broth in place of the beef broth and water.
Delicious! I cooked as per the recipe! My husband always wants loads of salt in everything, but this does not need salt! 10 thumbs up!
It is not going to make 4 servings as my husband ate 2 huge bowls for dinner, this is a keeper. I just added a couple of dashes of Worcestershire Sauce and a can of diced Portobello mushrooms. Served with everything bagel chips instead of crackers and it was delicious.
Made as noted but did add 3 sliced carrots. This was a good filling soup.
I added chicken & a jalapeno
This was excellent. I did made a few additions to the recipe. I used milk instead of water as was suggested. I also added 1 chicken and 1 beef bouillon cubes. A teaspoon each of garlic powder, celery salt and Basel. I thickened it with corn starch.
Added garlic and carrots, it was delicious! Served over rice. Definitely a winner!
While family loved it. Even my 8 yr old that doesn’t like any soup!
So simple and so satisfying! I added just a splash of garlic jalapeno powder for my bowl for my taste. My husband likes it just how the recipe calls
I made it without changes , perfect! A permanent addition to our dnners
Yes I added heavy cream to it and baby bok choy
Followed recipe and it was easy and tasted fantastic. I will make this again and often.
So delicious! We added carrots and minced garlic and definitely let the potatoes simmer to a nice thickness. Turned out very creamy and the whole family loved it!!
This meal is amazing. I did however make slight changes due to what I had in my pantry. Instead of both beef and chicken broth, I used 4 chicken bouillon cubes in 4 1/2cups of water, I added thinly sliced carrots, and I also used Cream of Chicken with Herb Soup. I will be making this so many more times. Writing this one down in my recipe book!
I made 2 change sI used cream of mushroom because that’s what I had and I thicken it slightly. Other than that it was awesome!
Why do all of the pictures have carrots when it’s not in the recipe
This was so easy to make and the whole family really liked it!
I would definitely make it again. Easy and delicious.
I made this and it was a great! With a large family I always buy the bulk pack of Kielbasi and sometimes have left over. Found this quick soup and boy was it a hit. Add a salad to the mix and it was yummy.
